Hi! I’m Brooke Seager, Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, in Private Practice in Wichita, KS, and I work from a distinctively Christian perspective. I have a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University (1994) and have had additional training in biblical counseling, sexual addictions, trauma and marital conflict.
Being a Marriage and Family Therapist means that I look at what’s going on in a client’s life in the context of their history, which includes their family of origin. I also look at all the significant relationships in their lives and other contextual factors that play a role in how they deal with life situations.
I am licensed with the state of Kansas and hold to all licensing laws and regulations. I’m also a member of the American Association for Christian Counseling. As a member of this professional organization, I adhere to the high standard of practice outlined in the Code of Ethics. But more than that, I hold to biblical principles found in the Word of God.
